Setting Up Deister Integration

To correctly configure the Deister integration with portier®VISION, certain entries in the file portiervision.ini need to be adjusted. This file is located in the installation directory of your portier®VISION installation.

Required Settings

Add the following section to your portiervision.ini or adjust it according to your configuration:

PASSWORD=DEISTER_PASSWORD

Explanation of Entries

• HOST
  The URL to the Deister proxSafe WebService. This service must be reachable and correctly configured.

• DB
  The name of the Deister database server before the semicolon (;) and the SQL Server instance after it.
  Example:
  w2003sv/pscv3 = Servername
  The credentials

• for the Deister database server (typically SQL Server).

Make sure that the Deister proxSafe WebService is running and accessible before starting the integration.

The POLLINTERVAL value defines the interval in seconds at which portier®VISION queries the Deister system.

HOSTCHECK controls whether the SSL certificate is validated. This is useful for test environments.
